2018 Chateau Yaldara Reserve Pinot Noir

A Single vineyard wine utilising 114, 115 & 777 clones of Pinot Noir from Lobethal in the Adelaide Hills. 15% of the fruit was fermented as a full cluster ferment, basket pressed and racked straight to 30% new French oak hogs heads to undergo Malolactic fermentation. From there the wine sat patiently for 14 months of oak maturation prior to bottling. A lovely wine to be enjoyed with Roast Duck, spiced Beetroot and Haloumi.

Vibrant Cherry red to Garnet

Brooding earthy and plum aromas, underlying spice, citrus zest and charry oak characters

Red fruit, earth, beetroot and kitchen spice flavours complimented by a dusty oak structure. This wine has the typical Pinot Noir “sweet spot” on the mid pallet and balanced acid to drive length. Structured, cold climate Pinot Noir with a 5 to 10 year drinking window
